Forums: Index > Bully General Chat > Analyses of Favorite Bully Characters?

Since most of the notable characters in Bully have their own unique quirks and personal attributes, I've been wondering if anyone has taken the time to analyse their favorite or least favorite characters in a way that may explain their actions and roles in the gameplay universe. I know this kind of sounds like some lame school assignment, but after a few conversations I've had with others who play the game, discussions, particularly on the more "psychopathic" individuals, have been made to be rather interesting.

Anyway, here is my own short starter analysis on my personal favorite: Jimmy Hopkins

Jimmy seems to be less of a psychopath and more of a kid who just has self-esteem issues. He is presumed to have been fighting, among other things, for most of his life. Evidence of this is listed by Dr. Crabblesnitch at the very beginning of the game. However, Jimmy's violence doesn't seem to be something he has simply decided to intergrate into his daily lifestyle; Jimmy himself states he "only gives people what they have coming to them". Jimmy doesn't want to necessarily fight people, trouble just finds him. Though, he does tend to gloat and demean his defeated enemies after he wins his battles, implying that he has some sort of inward need to conquer and destroy those who dare to fight him. This may be because he wishes to prove that he is better than everyone else to everyone else, and maybe even himself.

But, I don't know, what do you guys think? And who else in Bully has a personality worthy of discussion?

Note: Posts can respond to previous posts (incluing this one) to agree/disagree with the statements made, HOWEVER, it must be done in a respectful manner and must inculde a sensible reason as to "why" (if disagreeing) to avoid potential arguments and other such unpleasantries. Also, please do not be afraid of referencing other users' analyses or even analysing the same characters. This is a discussion, after all.
