Passing Out is a mechanic that prevents the player from freeroaming the town of Bullworth after 2:00 a.m.
Jimmy will pass out if he is not in any of the safehouse beds by 2:00 a.m. and the player will lose any health bonuses he/she received prior to passing out. Jimmy will begin to show signs of fatigue and the screen will become blurry around 1:00 a.m. This gives the player 60 seconds to find a safehouse and a bed. Passing out poses no serious risks to gameplay, however players do run the risk of being "robbed in their sleep", usually only missing footwear upon waking. Jimmy will awaken in the same spot he passed out in. If he passes out in the water, Jimmy will awaken in the nearest infirmary. Once awoke gameplay is resumed as normal.
