Hi! I am BullyFan112! I'd like to ask: Where do you find these great pictures? They are really nice and high quality!! BullyFan112 17:02, November 25, 2011 (UTC)BullyFan112
Hi Blackpill. I do apologize for being so slow in talking to you about images, and I do sympathize with seeing your work get deleted.
However, you're not even close to doing all the things you're supposed to do when you upload images to the wiki. Look at this image I uploaded, for example: File:Lawnmowing yard.jpg. Use that as a template for any image you upload. In the box that says "Summary", write the following.
Photo obtained from *website*, original location *exact location of the image*. All rights reserved by Rockstar Games and Take Two Interactive.
Then, under that, there is a drop-down menu to select a Licensing. The licensing you need to select, assuming what you're uploading is a screenshot or other in-game image, is "This will be used in a way that qualifies as fair use under US law".
I know it seems harsh and like a lot of rules to follow, and a lot of other wikis have fewer or even no rules about uploading images. Other wikis also sometimes get in trouble with the game developers for having too many copyrighted images and articles covered with redundant and/or useless pictures.
As far as the images you've already uploaded go, I can fix the licensing information and such for you as long as you can add to the individual images where you found them - but otherwise I will have to delete them as copyright violations. Jeff (talk|stalk) 01:12, November 27, 2011 (UTC)
- If you took the screenshots yourself, write this.
This is a screenshot of Bully (PC version), taken and edited by the uploading user. All rights reserved by Rockstar Games and Take Two Interactive.
- And use the same "This will be used in a way that qualifies as fair use under US law" option from the drop down menu. Jeff (talk|stalk) 04:09, November 29, 2011 (UTC)
